The seed industry is the "chip" of fisheries development. Our company leverages molecular breeding technology to cultivate species with key advantages, including all-male monosex growth, disease resistance and immune-ecological benefits, high-yield meat production, and a high-protein, low-fat profile.
Currently, the Mekong Fishery Seed Industry Engineering Centre has successfully collected basa fish (Pangasius) germplasm resources from the Mekong River basin, selected superior family lines, and established a breeding population of 2,000 brood fish, with an annual production capacity of up to 20 million fry.
